The VetNotes Desktop Integration
What is this?
The VetNotes desktop integration allows VetNotes to communicate directly with your practice management software (PMS).

It communicates directly with your existing PMS - no need for copy/pasting
Simple & easy to use
What can it do?
Records audio, and enters the subsequent VetNotes summary directly into your PMS.
You can also see a list of recent recordings & notes - useful if you made a recording on another device.
How do I get started?
Contact mitch@vetnotes.com.au to get started. Setup & install will take about 5 mins per computer.
Sydney, Central Coast & Newcastle clinics - In person setup & installation is available.

The desktop integration enters the results wherever your cursor is - as if you were typing it. Hence, it works with all PMS systems, including cloud & server based.
My computer does not have a microphone…
That's ok. Microphones can be plugged in via USB.
Can I use my templates?
Yes. In 2 ways:
Choose a template to be your "default template" inside the VetNotes.com settings. Then it will be used every time.
OR, tell VetNotes to use a template during the recording. Eg "Put this in my ear template". VetNotes will then automatically choose the template for you!
Can I use it for consults too?
Yes! Just make sure your computer doesn't "fall asleep". Good audio quality is essential for accurate results, so try to stay close to the microphone.
How do I ensure the notes are checked before going into my PMS?
Coming soon - you will have the option to prepend "Checked: No" to any note. After reviewing the note, you can either remove it, or change to "Yes". Thus - it's clear that it has been verified.
Will my PMS charge extra fees for this?
No.
